Every five years, the Association awards a series of prizes, named after the distinguished Welsh antiquary G.T. Clark, for contributions to the study of the history and antiquities of Wales and the Marches published during the previous quinquennium.
This year the Association considered a number of shortlisted publications and selected four books that were judged to have made the most significant contribution to the understanding and celebration of Wales’s past. The winning publications covered a wide range of interests, from Neolithic houses and an Early Medieval crannog to maritime archaeology and history. The awards will be presented to the winners at the Autumn meeting of the Association at Cowbridge on 13 September. The list of publications and winners can be seen on the G.T. Clark page of the website.
