Dr Elizabeth Walker, President 2022-23, is a museum curator at Amgueddfa Cymru specialising in the Palaeolithic and Mesolithic archaeology of Wales. In her presidential address Elizabeth will discuss the significance of the Welsh caves towards an understanding of the Palaeolithic archaeology of Wales.
Dr Wiliam worked as Assistant Keeper, Director and Deputy-Director at Amgueddfa Cymru-National Museum of Wales, and is an authority on the vernacular buildings of Wales. He has published extensively on the subject, and was responsible for the addition of many such buildings to the Museum’s collection at St. Fagans. Michael Jones is Emeritus Professor of Medieval French History at the University of Nottingham.
